I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired!! I am now on round 2 of this cold and sinus thing that takes my voice with it! I just had this the whole week of the new year...shouldn't I be immune to it now??? My voice is almost gone this morning. Last time it lasted for a whole week. Not that anyone in my house was upset about that!! Apparently, it's a nice thing when mom looses her voice and cannot yell at anyone! Hopefully, I won't loose my voice for a week this time. Does anyone have any suggestions to get my voice back??? I'm taking Nyquil at bedtime to help me sleep and it keeps my sinuses pretty clear and keeps me from coughing my head off all night. I actually got a flu shot this year (since I was lucky enough to get the flu last year!). I guess I should be grateful that I don't have the flu, but I'm curious as to how many more times I'm going to loose my voice before spring gets here!
On another note, if you feel led, please pray for this family . http://themcclenahans.blogspot.com/ I cannot imagine what they are going through. To take your child to the doctor for an ear infection checkup and find out they have stage 4 cancer. Suddenly, my minor annoyance of a cold doesn't seem like such a big deal. Sometimes, it's hard to remember to thank God for all our blessings, no matter how big or small they are. I have a wonderful husband, healthy kids, my health (more or less!), a loving family and close friends, a warm house and enough food for my family. We really are blessed! How many blessings can you come up with today??
