Helping out Kate

Hopefully, within the next few weeks, life for Kate will start to resemble some sense of normalcy. She will have chemo treatments every Monday for the next 2 years. That's a lot for anyone, but especially a 3 year old. She did come home from the hospital last Thursday, but she is back in the hospital again because of an infection in her hand. Hopefully, she'll come home this Friday. Please pray for the infection to heal completely without surgery.

I have a huge favor to ask of anyone that reads this blog. We have a rental space at the Shoppes on Main in Downtown Thomasville. We are going to raffle a Lighthouse ($1 per ticket) from our space starting this Saturday through Everybody's Day on September 27th. The drawing will be held the following Monday, September 29th. We need all of you to come out and enter into this drawing. All the money will be given to Kate's family.
