I don't know a lot yet, but what I've learned has given me hope. Kate was diagnosed with Leukemia (the ALL type). They are running further tests to determine which type of "ALL" she has. The good news is the doctors are confident it can be cured. The bad news is that this will take approximately 2 years of chemo. That's a long time for anyone, but to watch her go through this is going to break my heart. Kate is a little princess who loves to play dress up with her tiara & have her long hair braided to really look the part. She is going to be crushed to learn her hair will fall out. Please keep praying for this family. They are really struggling right now.
Jake told me yesterday that we would pray for Kate and she would get all better. I love his faith & hope!
